Included are 2 segments of singing that will both lift you up and bring you into a place of devotion. ** NOTE – For the first Sunday of every month, starting in May, we will be replacing our 10am service to a 4:15pm-5:15pm service! **
We have communion every week.
Our sermons are Bible based messages which are underpinned by the message of God’s Grace towards us, the hope that eternal life brings and the love that God has for each one of us.
Afterwards stay around for a great coffee or cup of tea and a chat at 11.30am.
As part of our Community outreach FaithWorks Christian Church runs the “Encounter Café” on the first Sunday of every second month during the Gisborne Market.
The Encounter Cafe is a warm and comfortable place for people to come in and have a sit down and a chat. In a cafe environment you will be waited on and brought quality cappuccinos or have Devonshire tea with fresh cream and scones. Chat with your friends or be entertained with live music from some of our music team.
There is no charge at all as Encounter cafe wants to show that there are people who are willing to give to the community, just because it’s a nice thing to do. Sometimes people are overwhelmed by the generosity they experience and they want to give back, so anyone who feels that way is welcome to donate to our orphanage in India.
So the team at Encounter Cafe encourages everyone who is passing through the Gisborne Market, to drop in for a cuppa on us. Wander the market as well and make a day of it! And plan to visit Encounter Cafe!

PRAYER MEETING
An effective prayer life is one of the most powerful tools we can posses. It’s our communication with our heavenly Father; its how, along with reading the Bible we can get to know our God.
Prayer calls for discipline and perseverance.
Prayer is as important to our Spiritual life as breathing is to the flesh.
There are things to learn, attributes to see in God and questions regarding His plan for our lives that need to be resolved in prayer.
It is one of life’s greatest adventures.
At FaithWorks Christian Church we believe prayer to be an important part of every Christian and our church life.
Join us and get inspired to pray for our nation, region, church and individuals.

Pre Sunday Service 9:30am to 9:50am
KIDS CHURCH
Every Sunday during our 10am service we run a children’s program.
We have 2 age groups that we look after during the service.
Ages 3 to 5 – After the first couple of songs this age group is invited to move into another area of the church building where they will be looked after for the duration of the service.
Grades 1-6 – We want to encourage this age group to understand the meaning behind communion and learn what it is to worship God in song with the rest of our church family. Once this is over their program begins whilst the sermon is preached.
All children are a gift from God and we take seriously the mandate on us at Faithworks to see these children grow in an understanding and devotion of our Lord Jesus Christ. We also want them to realise that they have an amazing future and can make a difference in their lives due to their faith in God.
MISSIONS
The vision of FaithWorks Christian Church is to encourage people to reach their full potential in God. Our vision is not just for our town or region, but encompasses the whole church as a body. We have a passion to see Men and Women, boys and girls old and young get excited for God.
To achieve this we support a number of mission and outreach programs in our region and overseas.
